Makey Makey STEAM
In The Kahikatea Hub, we have been working hard every Monday and Friday afternoon making different things for STEAM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) IN the afternoons when we do STEAM, we make different things that contain conductive materials. Conductive materials are materials that will produce electricity, we also use a website called Scratch.
Some of the things we have made have been Instruments, Controllers and an alarm system.
We use alligator clips and a Makey Makey Kit

This is the Kauri Hub's Dance Battle between girls and boys
The Variety Show was very fun for all the students, we got lots of positive feedback. Adults enjoyed the show as well as children. We raises a lot of money to pay for EOTC.
Our Variety Concert was a success and most of the parents and families enjoyed seeing their students on stage performing a show they had put together. We raised around $6,000 and that was enough to pay off our bus ride for our end of the year.

Anzac Puzzles
This is a Learn Create Share that Bella, Lara and Seane worked on.
The purpose was to create a puzzle for the juniors to play with.
The theme was ANZAC, because it had been ANZAC day recently.
