We made Soap!

Yesterday a lady called Shannon came in to teach us how to make soap for our craft market. At first we were going to make it the dangerous way with a ll the ingredients from scratch and if you put the ingredients in the wrong way around it explodes. So Shannon taught us how to make soap the safe way. We made chocolate scented soap and it was purple. When we took it out of the mold everyone was so excited because it was really shiny and it smelled amazing.

  18. Hi my name is Lorelei from South Hornby School. I could imagine that it would've been fun! I was wondering how long did it take to make the soap? I was so eager to out how to make soap. It was interesting to find out how soap was really made and to find out that there are explosive ways to make soap. I will be sure to use these steps to make soap one day. This reminded me of when my mum tried to make homemade moisturizer. A bit of a tip is to tell us the ingredients that where included to make this. Overall I thought it was cool that you could share your learning with us.
